Iris Collett was born in London in 1938, and has been a professional artist for the last twenty years
gaining much acclaim from the London galleries she has exhibited at.
Demand for her work is such that she has around a six-month waiting period for her commissions.
Irisís talent for painting in soft muted colours and awareness of lighting brings out the best in her work.
She has always painted throughout her life, gaining inspiration from her surroundings.
All of her floral work is taken from life studies and much of her portraiture is constructed by
visiting her subjects. Her work has been actively taken up by many publishers
throughout the country for greeting cards and prints which will only expand the
demand for her original work nationwide.
