ANTONIO MARTIN

Antonio Alberto Hernandez Martin was born in Valladolid in 1971.  He studied Engineering and computer science but had a passion for art and supplemented his studies with numerous courses of Fine Arts. 

From a young age Antonio was facinated with the sensations of light and atmosphere and painting for him was the perfect tool to capture and reflect a particular feeling about a place or scene.  His paintings convey the nostalgic and romantic charm of a place.  It is perhaps for this reason that Antonio prefers acrylic and watercolour as its freshness and speed of execution allows him to capture the atmosphere of the scene quickly before the light changes.

Today Antonio lives in Leon.
He has received numerous awards for painting and has presented several  exhibitions with great success in all of them.
